FROM May 20-24, 2024, a course was taught in Assisi, Italy, entitled, “The Benedictine Tradition as a Guide to Human and Spiritual Formation.” The course was held at the Oasi del Sacro Cuore Retreat Center: participants were Benedictine and Cistercian monks and nuns from 10 different countries who are serving or are intended to serve as formation-directors: that is, novice or junior-masters, or -mistresses.
