FROM May 18-31, 2022, a course was taught in Assisi, Italy, entitled, “The Benedictine Tradition as a Guide to Human and Spiritual Formation.” The course was held at the Oasi del Sacro Cuore Retreat Center: participants were Benedictine and Cistercian monks and nuns from 17 different countries who are serving or are intended to serve as formation-directors: that is, novice or junior-masters, or -mistresses.

RETURN to the United States was possible only if one procured a COVID-test result obtained 24 hours prior to departure for the United States.

THERE was a testing facility deep within the bowels of the Rome Fumicino Airport, where this document was obtained.
