TODAY the influence of APPs cannot be overstated. But behind this eagerness for APPs and technology is both:
[1] a desire for the convenience of keeping everything important on one's device (usually a cellphone) and
[2] the unconscious (and often unwarranted) assumption that an electonic APP represents trustworthy “SCIENCE”

THE
MYTH
of
MAGICAL
MATH
(Surrendering Control to the Computer)
Someone else's mystical algorithm is NOT a substitute for thoroughly understanding how the method you are using works. Beware of proprietary (secret) algorithms!
THE
MYTH
of
(Combining)
MULTIPLE
METHODS
Some people feel more comfortable monitoring several signs, but the Creighton Method works as well as any other method, monitoring only one symptom - cervical fluid. There is a danger that the more symptoms one tries to collate, the greater uncertainty as to how to interpret seemingly-conflicting data.
THE
MYTH
THAT
MONEY
MATTERS
MOST
IT is tempting to imagine that the more expensive the service and the app, the better and more reliable it must be.
NO! A method that is learned and understood does not require a lifetime subscription or dependency on someone else's interpretation. Government regulation of these is still in its infancy, and many simply DO NOT WORK!
