O VIRTUE of wisdom

Who circling encircles,

Encompassing all

In a single path containing life

O virtus Sapientie,

que circuiens circuisti,

comprehendendo omnia

in una via que habet vitam,

three wings you have:

one soars to the heights,

one exudes from the earth,

and the third soars everywhere.

tres alas habens,

quarum una in altum volat

et altera de terra sudat

et tercia undique volat.

Praise to you, as is fitting,

O Wisdom

Laus tibi sit, sicut te decet,

O Sapientia.
