Dear Benedictine Sisters and Brothers,

 Please join the Benedictine community of Saint Andrew's Abbey, Valyermo, California in their prayer of thanksgiving for the election of:

     Abbot Damien Toilolo, O.S.B. as Abbot of Valyermo.

The election proper began and was concluded today, June 21: Abbot President Ansgar Schmidt, O.S.B., Abbot President of the Benedictine Congregation of the Annunciation presided over and confirmed the election.

Please keep Abbot Damien and the monks of Valyermo in your prayers.
