ORDAINED a PRIEST for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 1974, Fr. Joseph joined St. Andrew’s Abbey in 1994 and professed monastic vows in 1995. He serves the community as Prior, novicemaster, juniormaster, and director of vocations.  He gives retreats and workshops on the theme of discernment; and he is actively involved in the ministry of spiritual direction, both at the abbey and at the diocesan seminary and House of Prayer for Priests.
